I've got a script that takes an Illustrator file, copies the first layer, then scales the layer. My problem is that the scaling is being applied to individual objects in place, rather than as a whole. This is true even if I group the items. I have tried selecting the items manually and then running the scale operation via script, and that works the way it should.
My question is - Is there a way to select the artwork on the copy layer so that it will scale correctly?
